These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and all orders placed with VinShield UK Ltd. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms in full.
1. About Us
This website is operated by VinShield UK Ltd. VinShield UK Ltd manufactures and supplies aftermarket vehicle identification labels, VIN decals, data plates, chassis plates and related custom automotive identification products.
VinShield UK Ltd is an independent aftermarket manufacturer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by any vehicle manufacturer unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Website Use
By using this website, you agree not to misuse the website, submit false information, interfere with the operation of the website, or place fraudulent, unlawful or misleading orders.
VinShield UK Ltd reserves the right to restrict, suspend or refuse access to the website where misuse, abuse, unlawful activity, attempted fraud, chargeback abuse or suspicious conduct is suspected.
3. Product Nature and Custom Manufacturing
All products supplied by VinShield UK Ltd are custom manufactured using the information provided by the customer at the time of ordering. Products may include but are not limited to vehicle identification labels, compatibility-marked replacement stickers, data plates, chassis plates, door pillar labels, and other custom identification products.
Because each order is made specifically to the customer’s submitted details, these goods are treated as custom-made or personalised items rather than standard stock items.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, goods made to a consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised are exempt from standard cancellation rights.
4. Customer Responsibility
By placing an order, the customer confirms that all information supplied is accurate, complete and checked before payment.
- The VIN, registration, model details and any submitted data are correct.
- The customer is authorised to provide and reproduce the information submitted.
- The order relates to a legitimate vehicle, lawful restoration, lawful repair, or other lawful purpose.
- The customer accepts responsibility for all submitted details.
VinShield UK Ltd is not liable for customer errors, including incorrect VIN entries, spelling mistakes, wrong specifications, wrong model information, or other inaccurate data supplied during ordering.
5. Strict Lawful Use Policy
Products supplied by VinShield UK Ltd must only be used for lawful purposes. Customers must not use, attempt to use, request, commission, obtain or install any product supplied by VinShield UK Ltd for any unlawful, dishonest, deceptive, fraudulent or criminal purpose.
- vehicle cloning or attempted vehicle cloning,
- use on stolen vehicles or vehicles suspected to be stolen,
- concealment, substitution or falsification of a vehicle’s true identity,
- fraudulent resale, insurance fraud, identity fraud or document fraud,
- misrepresentation of a vehicle’s history, provenance, registration or identity,
- circumventing law enforcement, insurers, regulators, testing authorities or finance companies.
VinShield UK Ltd does not authorise, condone, assist, encourage or participate in vehicle cloning, stolen vehicle concealment, fraudulent identity substitution, or any related unlawful activity. Any such use is entirely without the knowledge, consent, authority or approval of VinShield UK Ltd and remains the sole responsibility of the customer and/or end user.
6. Anti-Cloning, Stolen Vehicle and Criminal Use Disclaimer
By placing an order, the customer expressly warrants, represents and undertakes that:
- the vehicle information submitted relates to a legitimate vehicle and lawful purpose,
- the order is not connected in any way to a stolen vehicle, cloned vehicle, ringed vehicle, identity-swapped vehicle or fraudulently represented vehicle,
- the customer is not seeking to disguise, replace, obscure, alter or misrepresent the true identity of any vehicle unlawfully,
- the customer is not acting on behalf of any person involved in theft, fraud, deception, unlawful resale or criminal concealment,
- the customer accepts full civil and criminal responsibility for the use of the product once supplied.
VinShield UK Ltd manufactures strictly from customer-supplied information and does not assume responsibility for criminal misuse, concealed facts, false statements, fraudulent intent, stolen property, vehicle identity manipulation, or any unlawful installation or deployment of supplied goods.
The customer agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless VinShield UK Ltd against any loss, claim, investigation, complaint, police enquiry, regulatory action, payment dispute, civil claim, criminal allegation, reputational harm, legal cost or third-party demand arising from or connected with any unlawful, deceptive or unauthorised use of any product supplied.
7. Orders, Acceptance and Refusal
All orders are subject to acceptance by VinShield UK Ltd. VinShield UK Ltd reserves the absolute right to refuse, hold, review, delay or cancel any order where information appears incomplete, inconsistent, suspicious, unlawful, or otherwise unsuitable for manufacture.
- Orders may be refused where fraud, cloning or stolen vehicle involvement is suspected.
- Orders may be refused where requested details appear altered, inconsistent or misleading.
- Orders may be refused where payment security concerns arise.
- Orders may be refused where legal, operational or reputational risk exists.
8. Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on this website are shown in the applicable currency stated on the product or checkout page. Full payment is required before production or dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.
VinShield UK Ltd reserves the right to correct pricing errors, withdraw promotions, or cancel orders affected by clear pricing mistakes.
9. Production Times and Dispatch
Any production or dispatch time shown on the website is an estimate only unless expressly stated otherwise. VinShield UK Ltd shall not be liable for courier delays, customs delays, third-party delivery issues, or delays caused by incomplete customer information.
Risk in goods passes in accordance with applicable law. Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are correct.
10. Cancellation Policy
Because products are custom manufactured, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Production may begin shortly after purchase and may include order review, setup, material allocation, design preparation, engraving, printing, cutting, finishing, packing or dispatch processing.
If a cancellation request is made before production begins, VinShield UK Ltd may, at its sole discretion, approve cancellation. Where cancellation is approved before production, a 15% cancellation and administration fee will apply, together with deduction of any postage, transaction, processing or other costs already incurred.
- Once production starts: no cancellation.
- If approved before production: 15% fee applies.
- Postage and incurred processing costs are also deducted.
11. Refund Policy
No refunds are available for change of mind, ordering error, duplicate purchase, no longer required, customer-supplied mistakes, or project delays where the item has been custom manufactured in accordance with the order placed.
Refunds are not available once production has started except where required by law.
12. Faulty or Incorrectly Manufactured Goods
Nothing in these Terms removes the customer’s statutory rights where an item is genuinely faulty, not as described, or incorrectly manufactured by VinShield UK Ltd.
If a manufacturing fault is reported and confirmed, VinShield UK Ltd may repair, replace, or refund the affected item where appropriate and where required under law.
Customer statutory rights for faulty goods are preserved under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
By placing an order, the customer agrees that the purchase is for a custom manufactured product made to the customer’s own specifications. The customer agrees to contact VinShield UK Ltd first to attempt resolution before initiating any chargeback, card dispute, bank reversal, or payment platform claim.
Where a chargeback or dispute is raised, VinShield UK Ltd reserves the right to submit all relevant evidence, including order records, customer declarations, website checkout confirmations, production records, dispatch details, tracking information, and customer communications.
Fraudulent, abusive or knowingly false chargebacks may be challenged fully and may be reported to payment processors, financial institutions, fraud prevention systems, debt recovery agents, solicitors, or relevant authorities where appropriate and lawful.
14. Intellectual Property
All website content, images, branding, graphics, text, product presentation and design elements belonging to VinShield UK Ltd remain the intellectual property of VinShield UK Ltd unless otherwise stated.
Vehicle manufacturer names used on this website are used for compatibility reference only. VinShield UK Ltd does not claim ownership of third-party trade marks and does not reproduce manufacturer logos unless expressly authorised.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VinShield UK Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or business loss arising from the use of this website or the supply of products.
VinShield UK Ltd shall not be liable for losses arising from customer error, incorrect submitted data, misuse, incorrect installation, third-party delays, or decisions made by authorities, insurers, testers or enforcement bodies.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, total liability shall not exceed the price paid for the relevant item.
16. Indemnity
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless VinShield UK Ltd against claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising from misuse of products, unlawful use, inaccurate submitted information, breach of these Terms and Conditions, cloning-related allegations, stolen vehicle involvement, or any criminal, fraudulent or deceptive conduct linked directly or indirectly to the customer’s order.
17. Privacy and Data Use
Information submitted by customers will be used for order processing, manufacturing, customer service, fraud prevention, record keeping, and compliance with lawful obligations.
VinShield UK Ltd may retain relevant records, including order data and communications, where reasonably necessary for business, legal, fraud prevention, dispute handling, law enforcement cooperation, or payment defence purposes.
18. Cooperation with Police, Regulators and Authorities
VinShield UK Ltd operates a strict anti-fraud and anti-cloning policy. Where VinShield UK Ltd receives a lawful request, notice, court order, production order, regulatory demand, law enforcement enquiry, payment investigation, fraud review or other legally valid request for information, VinShield UK Ltd reserves the right to provide full and frank disclosure of all relevant information held in relation to the order or customer to the extent permitted or required by law.
- customer name, address, contact details and delivery information,
- submitted VIN, registration, specification and order content,
- IP address, order timestamps, device or session information where available,
- emails, messages, screenshots, uploaded files and communications,
- payment records, transaction references and dispute material,
- manufacturing records, dispatch records and delivery tracking data.
The customer acknowledges and agrees that VinShield UK Ltd may cooperate fully with police, regulators, courts, payment processors, fraud prevention bodies, insurers and other competent authorities in connection with suspected cloning, stolen vehicles, fraud, deception, unlawful use, payment abuse or any related investigation.
If any order is suspected of being connected to cloning, stolen vehicles, fraudulent identity alteration or any unlawful activity, VinShield UK Ltd may suspend fulfilment, cancel the order, preserve all records, and disclose relevant information to the appropriate authorities.
19. International Orders
Customers ordering from outside the United Kingdom are responsible for ensuring that purchase, import, possession and use of any supplied product is lawful in their own jurisdiction.
VinShield UK Ltd makes no representation that products are lawful for use in every country or territory.
20. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms, the website, or any order placed with VinShield UK Ltd shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless otherwise required by law.
21. Changes to These Terms
VinShield UK Ltd may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time by publishing a revised version on this page. The version in force at the time an order is placed will apply to that order unless otherwise required by law.
Customer Agreement
By using this website and placing an order, you confirm that:
- You have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- Your order is custom manufactured using the information you supplied.
- You understand that no refund is available once production begins.
- You understand that approved pre-production cancellations incur a 15% fee plus postage and incurred costs.
- You confirm the order is not connected to a stolen vehicle, cloned vehicle or any unlawful activity.
- You agree that VinShield UK Ltd may cooperate fully with lawful police, regulatory, fraud or payment investigations.
- You agree to contact VinShield UK Ltd before opening a payment dispute or chargeback.
